They include the National Institutes of Health, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Indian Health Service, Health Resources and Services Administration, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Administration for Children and Families and Administration on Aging and last but not the least the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. The department of Health and Human Services also works with a fourth of government expenditures.
